  Teen Drama. Story of werewolves (alpha, beta and the outsiders) as well as the other characters that come into play from a banshee to a coyote to chimera to kanimas. This TV series is loosely built on the 1985 movie that I watched as a kid and completely was in love with the movie. This TV series is full of supernatural heroes and villains is great for someone who loves to watch this genre of fantasy and myth.  Also it took me back to my early years when I binge watched this movie again and again with my childhood friends. I learnt about new characters that I never knew existed. So for me there were many things I learnt like kanima, banshee and kitsune! Kitsune led me to watch Tail of the Nine Tailed….so yes I’ve been in a loop of watching and researching on different characters post this TV series. 

Screenplay of Quentin Tarrantino. This is the new version of ‘From Dusk till Dawn’. Mythological fantasy based story on who controls the power and how does a Human turned Goddess finds her power back. It takes sometime to enjoy this series but is watchable. I am yet to watch the older version. When I do will share my two bits on the same. 

Turkish TV Series 'Atiye' which means 'The Gift'. Mystery mythological saga based on the famous archeological site Gobleki Tepe. This TV series takes you through a journey of a young female artist who has connections unknowingly to the hidden secrets of the world. The mystery unfolds and the moment you think you’ve got the hang of it, it changes its course. Something to really watch. Incase you're also interested in multiverse this is a tv series for you. The entire production is flawless.

During my time of isolation I binged watched many TV series that had been on my list. One of them was ... Tale of the Nine Tailed. South Korean TV Series based on the mythical character of South Korea ‘Nine Tailed Red Fox’. The TV series is in its original language i.e. Korean and has English subtitles (for people like me). Beautifully scripted and well directed. This TV series is a love saga between a fox and a human, with multitude of layers with complicated relationships and situations. Acting is also great. I would highly recommend to watch this incase people want a different flavor of film production. PS - a lot of my paintings are based on mythology and folklore. Many of my inspirations come from travel, books, documentaries, docu series and tv series. Any form of story helps in creating my work based on my interpretation.

Unclutter your mind as you unclutter your studio. Unclutter your mind as you unclutter your studio. This has been my practice ever since I started to paint. Always helped me appreciate my tools a lot more when I had to start painting/sketching once again. Made me realize all the great stuff I have in my studio and what all I could do with it. It also helped me not to purchase things I didnt need to. As many times I find myself extremely weak when I am at an art store looking for materials to paint with. I end up completely emptying my pocket. This way I am very clear with what I have and don't have. 

This bag was made post my time out in my balcony while I've been watching the bright stars in the clear sky. Inspite being homebound this pandemic has gifted us with clear sky and a lot of inspiration to create things that are new and alive. 

How to paint your own Gin bottle while you sit at home and wonder what next to do. Early this  month, I along with Tippling Art & Gin explorers Club decided to create this video for all you practicing #stayathome. We all practice the concept of staying safe and keeping ourselves and our families and loved ones safe. Important to all of us is how are we surviving or more so how are we living our daily lives today. With this pandemic crisis all over the globe someone we know or care for or simply don't know but do care for is affected by this crisis. We are hopefully practicing #stayhome during these times. However, some of us are not that fortunate to #stayhome but have to go out to either take care of patients, deliver groceries or medical facilities. However some of us are fortunate to have the luxury of staying home and must practice staying home. Though this is the best time for artists, writers and all the creative people to research on our work, create new works, create new ideas, join a community group and if you are not part of one simply start one. You could also give out tutorials online or make a simple video to share with people who are also home and would love to learn something. Never realized the importance of decluttering until I realized one day after a frantic clean up session. Ah this feels absolutely great. I feel my life is a lot easier and things I need are easily available! Never did I ever realize until that great day. So here are some tips on how to declutter your art studio: Put things away  - most important go step by step. Once you finish a project, a sketch or a simple research, put them away! It isn't tough and leads you to the next step. Everything needs their home! Yes everything has a home and needs a home. Once you have designated spaces for your objects it simply won't be tough to have them put away (point no. 1). Organise your storage area. Must must must! Must organise your storage area. Best way I have realized to do it. Have one day slotted in a week to organize one section of your drawer and make a list of things where you would like to store them. If you don't have a storage area, invest in small drawers that ...

Everyday a new child is born to our planet earth. A new born girl child. How many of them are we able to educate, give proper diet, provide a safe space, ensure their happiness and make them self dependent. Giving them a space to understand themselves, accept themselves and project themselves as who they really are. How about we all come together to pledge that we will give one percent of our energy/time/skills to these young girls.

How much Politicking is healthy and how much isn't. Sometimes one understands it and sometimes one just simply doesn't. I am a born producer of things I love to produce which people would love to own and keep with themselves and call it their own as part of their living experience or their lives. Though there is another side of the world which is extremely difficult for me to understand which is politics. Politics within the working structure, politics in beaurocracy, politics in running the state, politics in running a nation. And post experience some portion of it, watching our nation move in a certain direction and also post watching some of the most magnificantly produced TV Series such as the Wire. It makes me wonder. It really makes me think. How healthy is this game? How good is this game? And till what degree. I am yet to understand this whole charm in Politicking. I've come here to thrive, to live.
